Mia J, then things finish up with Beverley Knight and the latest Kylie, with a euphoric end that you just have to turn up loud!

We're back in business, with Allsorts, so named because it has a bit of everything.

Starting off with a bit of mainstream pop, we've got Manhattan Clique remixing Diana Vickers' debut Once, Alexandra Burke's new hot off the promo press Cahill remix for All Night Long, then onto my rediscovery of some older mixes from the Buzz Junkies. Things get a bit harder with Little Boots, and then the obligatory thumping Wawa mix, with Sun's Fancy Free getting the treatement! Then we move into the downright funky house with mixes by Warren Clarke, E-Squire, and the Bassmonkeys. To finish things off, is the first 2010 mix from the Freemasons re-working Sophie Ellis-Bextor's brand spanking new single Bittersweet.

After a long wait (not my fault - it's usual for this time of year!), and a bitterly cold northern winter, it's time for some Southern Sun. A bit more of a set with a few peaks and troughs, Southern Sun starts out with some mainstream campness of Katerine, Mini Viva and Cascada, who is doing her best GaGa impression (with Cahill doing the mix she immediately trumps any of GaGa's own remixes!).

Things get a bit harder with the relentless WaWa mix of Sugababes' Wear My Kiss, then things take a softer turn with Cheryl Cole's newy Parachute, a David Guetta/Kid Cudi track that's been bubbling around for a few months, and a nice little Vandalism remix that has really grown on me. Then things go up a gear with newer version of the house classic Bodyswerve, then up 4 gears with a magic Chicane stomper, and to finish things off is a little Junior Caldera number with Sophie Ellis Bextor on vocals.

Well here's the last one for 2009, Full Moon. Music from, and inspired by (whatever that means), my recent trip to the Full Moon party in Thailand!

With a tracklisting that reads a little bit like a who's who of reality TV, this one has a little bit for everyone; Moto Blanco are finally back on form, with an Alexandra Burke mix that sounds a little bit like Cahill, while Cahill bring us a Cheryl Cole mix that sounds a little bit like Bimbo Jones, and Bimbo Jones does a mix that sounds... well, like alot of other Bimbo Jones (but it's still rather good!). Throw in some unbeatable WaWa power, a Spencer and Hill remake of a 90's classic, and a Deadmau5 mix that just blows my mind, and we have a nice little set (If I do say so myself)!

As you all probably know, I quite like getting lovely bits of feedback and comments, and sometimes I also get suggestions about my podcasts. "Joelby" they've been known to say, "why don't you do a greatest hits?" they'd continue. "Well", I'd reply, "why the hell would anyone want to download a bunch of songs they've already downloaded" would be my response. But it did get me thinking. Over the last few years there have been quite a few occasions when I've dutifully selected the best remixes of songs, only to find probably just a day or two later, another one that is equally great or even better.

It's the Morning After (bleurgh). Chock full of the some of the biggest mixes of the last few months, and a few new ones that are barely off the press (you lucky folk!).
This outing starts with a Sneaky Sound System number that's been doing the rounds in Oz for a year or two, but has finally made a UK release, and a brilliant Bimbo Jones mix to boot; it's UFO. Then in to the pumping Keep This Fire Burning by The Outsiders, a funky little number from Levi 5Star feat. Michelle, and then Pink's massive So What. A not too shabby remix of Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad, and another great Ne-Yo remix kick off the second half, leaving it up to Sunchasers, Eric Prydz, and the massive remake by Guru Josh Project to finish this episode.

Here it is... Endless Summer (I wish!). A tinge less mainstream than the last outing, we open with an absolute belter from my personal favourite, Bimbo Jones, then onto some great mixes by Doc Da Funk & Dajae. Ricki Lee's Can't Touch This has been doing the rounds in Oz since mid 2007, but the UK 2008 re-edit titled U Want A Little Of This picks up the pace then we move to Deepest Blue who return with a storming new tune Miracle. Rounding off this little journey is the new Freemasons remix of Moby's Disco Lies, something new from Annie, and then ending gently with Red Carpet's anthemic Alright.
